Can you believe that finals are just around the corner?! Time has flown by so quickly!
It has been a little while since PNS has sent out an announcement to all its members, but we realized that our time was due! Behind the scenes PNS has been busy formulating several events for our members, and our fellow colleagues throughout the college. Our peer mentoring program is going great, and we have loved helping 1st semester students out! If you're still interested or have any questions, CONTACT US!!!!
So what's up and coming? Glad you asked!
Currently: In the Lab, outside the office, we have placed a box for students and staff to donate new or used clothing/etc. Several weeks ago the Philippines went through devastating flooding that has had a tremendous impact on many people's lives. In an effort to help the Philippines, we are asking for donations. In a week or two, we will donate everyone's generous donations to the Philippines to help make a small difference. If you have any used clothing or anything else that you might find appropriate, please help by donating! All donations are greatly appreciated!!!
Tuesday November 17th, 2009 - PNS is having our first BAKE SALE!!!! Look for our announcement following this one that will include information on how you can be a part of the bake sale, or just join in for lots of yummy goodies! All sales made from the bake sale, will be graciously donated to the Canadian Cancer Society!
In the works... PNS has been hearing lots of feedback from students about journal writing and Dosage and Calculations. We are trying to set up a couple of 'tutor' times, for students to come and ask their questions, to receive feedback, and get some help!
In the works... PNS is currently working on a charity event with Sick Kids Hospital. Stay tuned!!!!
